1. Who we are
This website (xc-east.com) is operated by Ninety East, also known as XC East ("we", "us"). We provide outsourced bookkeeping, tax return preparation and incorporation support to accounting firms in the United States and Canada.

2. What we collect
When you use the "Book a discovery call" form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your country
- Anything you choose to write in the message box
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the website running and secure.
3. Why we collect it
We use the information you submit only to:
- Reply to your enquiry and schedule a discovery call
- Understand what services your firm needs, so we can give you a relevant quote
By submitting the form, you consent to us using your information for these purposes. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list, and we will not use your information for any unrelated purpose without asking you first.
4. How it is handled and stored
- Your form submission is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- It is delivered directly to our business email inbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace.
- Our website does not save your submission in a database or file.
- Access to our inbox is limited to our team members who need it to respond to you.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only use these service providers, who process it on our behalf to run our website and email:
- Hostinger: website hosting
- Google: business email (Google Workspace) and the fonts used on this website
We may also disclose information if required by law.
6. Where your information is processed
Our team is based in India, and our service providers may store or process information in other countries, including the United States. This means your information may be handled outside your own country, where privacy laws may differ. We take reasonable steps to keep it protected wherever it is handled.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry only as long as needed to respond to you and, if we work together, to manage our business relationship. If we don't go on to work together, we delete enquiry emails within 24 months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop using your information (withdraw your consent)
Email hello@xc-east.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in Canada and are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
9. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or tracking pixels. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
10. Client data under an engagement
This notice covers information shared through our website only. Any client or firm data we work with as part of an engagement is governed by the non-disclosure agreement and service agreement we sign with your firm. We work only inside your firm's own systems and do not keep copies of client files.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
